Our Green House contacted WebDesk Solution because they wanted to scale their growth and improve their user experience. Our Green House owner Pam Davis told us that the Volusion store had become unreliable during checkout and was losing revenue. They chose BigCommerce as their new platform home after exploring their alternatives with our development team.
WebDesk Solution created a new store from scratch and oversaw the migration of the products, categories, customers, and order data to BigCommerce. A platform-to-platform move generally is a perfect time to rebuild the website and majority of the clients use a platform transfer as a chance to revamp their site. On the other hand, Our Green House wanted to ensure that they will maintain the design that their clients were accustomed to when they switch to the new platform. Our Green House also needed a custom-made product information editor tool with various requirements.

This isn’t always the case, though, unless they can determine what the other person wants or requires. Any celebrant’s main fear is receiving presents they don’t need or won’t utilize. The customer requested a gift registry as a means of resolving these concerns. The client requested that the gift registry be incorporated into their website as part of their project. WebDesk employed a proprietary table structure to offer the business capabilities distinct from its rivals as part of the scope.
Gift baskets are easy to assemble and may save both time and money. Aside from that, gift baskets allow the giver to express their feelings uniquely and personally. Pre-made gift baskets are available at Our Green House. To make sure that consumers are sending a gift that is exactly what they want, they also wanted to offer the opportunity for customers to design and customize their own. The goal included the design of a gift basket that works as a sub-cart and allows customers to build a gift basket. Adding things to the basket before adding the basket to the cart was a challenge since there were so many different items.

Customers can create, modify, and remove their gift registries after logging onto their accounts. One must include details about the event as well as the delivery address. The celebrant may add the required amount of the product by clicking on the Add Products button on the Gift Registry or clicking on Add to Registry from any product page. The gift registry can be shared with friends and family by social media links, email, or copying the URL and sharing it. Any gift giver may enter the gift registry by following the link provided by the celebrant or by going to Our Green House’s website homepage > Registry > Find a Registry option. It’s as simple as looking through the gift registry and clicking on the products they want to give as a present. The celebrant has complete control over the Gift Registry.
Customers can use a five-step wizard built by WebDesk Solution to create their bespoke gift baskets quickly. The customer will have several choices to pick from at each stage, such as basket type, alternative goods to add to the basket, ribbon color, and charitable purpose. Our Green House has always been committed to giving back to world concerns via the creative artisans they support and the sustainable materials they buy. Because of this, Our Green House requested to include a contribution page in the custom 5-step wizard.
Customers may use dynamic filters on each page of the selection process, including color, theme, pricing, and celebration.
Megamenu enables the visually distinct classification of categories. On the other hand, a simple drop-down may become disorienting if the number of menu sections grows too large. One of the reasons we revamped the megamenu column layout was to make it easier to divide the categories into multiple levels.
To enhance the aesthetics and user experience, WebDesk’s developers built faceted filters that used brand-appropriate color schemes and categorization. Together with the rest of the design work for the homepage, blog, system and content pages, banners and category and product pages, this results in a more cohesive online experience.. When it comes to customizing their shopping experience, users may choose how many products appear on a page and how they are organized based on several criteria (by item, theme, and collection).
We upgraded the theme as Our Green House wanted to update its theme to reflect the new version with a better visual aesthetic.
WebDesk Solution team was pretty easy to work on our website, the designers were excellent at their job as they created the design as per our expectations. The most important part for our website was the Data migration, for which we were a bit worried but the way they created the script and migrated the whole data was the best thing because we saw that the whole data was migrated without any loss. The project managers were very polite throughout the project and in the warranty period, too.
