The client, Gifted, came up with a great idea for a unique way of giving gifts that benefit everyone who is involved in the project. They wanted to allow customers to send and receive gifts related to their interests. This idea not only helps customers but also helps online stores to increase their sales. The key elements of this gift-giving solution are personalization, building relationships, sharing experiences, and spreading the word about the store. When customers send gifts to others, they are essentially promoting the online store and might even bring the new customers. On the other hand, those who receive the gifts are likely to visit the store to make a purchase and may become repeat customers. The client aimed to create a special gift-giving experience for Shopify users with just four easy steps.
The idea was to create an app that could work on any Shopify store, regardless of the store's design or type. Sometimes, to make these apps work correctly, they needed to use code and files from outside sources. However, using these external files could cause problems. The most important issue was that it could slow down web page loading speed, which was not good for the shopping experience. Additionally, it was tricky to make a tool that worked perfectly with all the different store designs and themes because the main goal was to help stores sell more, not to complicate things.
Gifted App Overview:
WebDesk Solution has developed a unique Gifted app designed for Shopify stores. This app enables store owners to offer their customers a streamlined and special gift-giving experience. Here's how it works:
Finding a Gift
A person looking to send a gift browses through the Shopify store's products. When they find a product they want to gift, they can select "gift this item."
Requesting Information
After choosing the gift, the gift giver can use the Gifted app's pop-up feature to send a personalized message to the gift recipient.
They compose and deliver a custom message to make the gift even more special.
Checking Out
The recipient of the gift now has control over certain product features, such as color, size, and pattern. After receiving the Gift pop-up from the gift giver, the recipient can proceed directly to the checkout process to complete the transaction for their customized gift.
Fulfilling the Gift
Once the gift-giving process is completed and the recipient has checked out, a confirmation email is automatically sent to the gift-giver. This confirmation email serves as a notification that the gift transaction has been successfully processed.
