The client, Essentia, is a prominent mattress manufacturer recognized for its high-quality products and natural ingredients. Essentia's unique foams are well-known for their exceptional comfort and support. Customers had to navigate back and forth between multiple product pages to compare mattresses on Essentia's current Shopify plus site; therefore, Essentia hoped to incorporate a comparison tool.
Essentia wanted to rebuild their home page, collection page, reorganize the megamenu with visuals and include various 3rd party tools for a one-of-a-kind user experience. In addition, Shopify Plus lacked an option for comparing mattresses that Essentia needed. Essentia wanted customers to assess three mattresses to make a better-informed choice.
Users had to navigate back and forth between multiple product pages to compare mattresses on Essentia's current Shopify plus site; therefore, Essentia hoped to incorporate a comparison tool. Essentia had a fantastic out-of-the-box idea for comparing different mattresses. Essentia required customers to evaluate the capabilities of three mattresses to make a better-educated decision.
Essentia also desired to include recycling costs on the shipping page. It was critical but also tricky that the charge be flexible and dependent on the customer's location.
Essentia wanted to have a distinctive design in blocks, adjustable, and in a zig-zag pattern to complement the unique products.
The WebDesk Solution team developed a bespoke application that allows administrators to control which data is displayed for comparison. The admin user can enter product comparison data from the custom app. To sync Shopify Plus to the Custom app, we use the Webhook and Cron Jobs techniques. We need to develop a Compare application per the client's requirement; however, Shopify does not offer a native feature. As a response, we developed a bespoke application that allows admins to produce comparative data for items and import it onto the Shopify website.
We built a single product, "Eco Fee," and then dynamically added the product with API to the basket based on the cart contents to address dynamic recycling fee requirements. The charge will be dynamically created and added to the cart. A recycling charge is charged depending on the location the client specifies on the shipping page.
People scan the significant portions of a page to assess what it is about and whether they want to stay for a more extended time. They make page judgments in as little as three seconds. If they decide to stay, they are more interested in the material at the top of the screen. We used a zig-zag style since we know that online users are always on the go. They have other things to do and lingering behind to admire the beauty and aesthetics of your website is the last thing they should do. Therefore, we designed to make our layouts' skim friendly' to capture visitors' attention and minimize bounce rates.
